The outbreak of coronavirus has forced a temporary change in the way we operate, in accordance with common sense and Gov. Kate Brown’s executive order of March 23, 2020.
First: YES, WE ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!!
Please continue to patronize us. We have bills to pay and small businesses operate on the high wire without a safety net. Thanks.
Second: We have reduced staff and store hours. Instead of two people being in the store, generally there is one. Since traffic is so much slower than in previous years, this is generally not a problem, but your patience is appreciated if there is another customer at the same time.
Our revised hours are as follows:
MONDAY to SATURDAY: Open 11 am, Close at 4 pm.
SUNDAY: Closed.
Third: Due to social distancing rules, we are not helping people try on shoes. We will get the merchandise into your hands and step well back. Please do not mistake this for a lack of concern about comfort and fit — for public health reasons (yours and ours) we can not linger.
Fourth: We are upping surface sanitation procedures: door handles, counters, and other touched surfaces. We have hand sanitizer to use at the counter if you need it. We encourage you to wash your hands frequently, as we do.
We look forward to a speedy end to this public health and economic nightmare.
